Erin Taylor Sentenced to 50 Years in Prison for Role in Brutal 2020 Murder
District Attorney Daryl Bailey announced today that a Montgomery woman has been sentenced to serve 50 years in prison for her role in the brutal death of Lesley Luna Pantaleon.
The murder occurred in June of 2020 during which Erin Taylor and her co-defendants beat and stabbed the victim numerous times before throwing her into a creek while she was still alive. The victim’s body was discovered in the creek on July 4, 2020, and was badly decomposed. Taylor confessed to her role in the killing and pled guilty to murder in April 2024. Judge Brooke Reid sentenced Taylor today to serve 50 years behind bars.
District Attorney Daryl Bailey expressed his appreciation to Deputy District Attorney Katie Langer and the Montgomery Police Department for their work in bringing justice to Lesley Luna Pantaleon and her family.
DA Bailey said: “The senseless brutality shown by the defendants in this case deserves the strongest condemnation and toughest sentence. I am proud that my office was able to obtain justice for this innocent young girl and her family. Judge Reid sent a strong message with her sentence today and I hope the violent criminals in our community hear it: Montgomery County is not the place to commit violent crime. If you do, then you are going to get caught, prosecuted, and sent to prison for a very long time.”
