Notice is hereby given that fifty-seven firearms and assorted property in the possession of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is subject to condemnation and forfeiture. A civil action against the firearms and assorted property has been filed by the State of Alabama. Any person claiming ownership in any of the firearms or property must file an answer in this action stating sufficient facts to prove ownership of the firearm(s) and currency. The answer should be filed under case number CV-2019-901643. The answer must be filed by February 1, 2020 or, thereafter a judgment by default may be entered against the property and any of its owners in case number CV-2019-901643, Circuit Court of Montgomery County.
